Robin Shepherd is Senior Research Fellow for Europe at Chatham House in London. He has written for The Times of London, The Financial Times, The International Herald Tribune and other leading newspapers. His book on Europe-Israel relations, “A State Beyond the Pale”, will be published by Weidenfeld and Nicholson in 2009.
