Terry Glavin


Terry Glavin is a Canadian author, journalist and critic. An adjunct professor in the Department of Creative Writing (MFA) at the University of British Columbia, he is a frequent contributor to various newspapers and magazines, and a columnist for the online journal The Tyee. His most recent book is The Sixth Extinction: Journeys Among the Lost and Left Behind (St. Martin's Press, New York). The editor of Transmontanus, an imprint of New Star Books, Glavin's essays regular appear in such newspapers and magazines as the Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen, The Vancouver Sun and The Vancouver Review. He is a founding member of the Canada-Afghanistan Solidarity Committee.
