We don’t always realize how important our mothers have been to us. Without even a touch of metaphors, they are literally the reason why we exist in this world. Even before we can learn how it feels to be touched and carried, our mothers have already done the best they could do.
As we went out into this world, we cried like little babies when we haven’t even known what it means to be in pain. Our mothers knew exactly how it felt, but they went through it and sealed it with a smile. And then it doesn’t end there. Every second we breathed until we’ve grown to the persons we are today, our moms have been there to nurture us and make sure we are on the right path.
For all the love and effort and grace our mothers have showered us, a simple message of thank you seems too small, but it can certainly put a smile on their faces. Make sure you’ve made your mother smile and make sure you say thank you enough. Words may be hard to express, but with sincerity, even in simplicity, they can carry tremendous amounts of love.
Plenty of times, it may seem like mothers nag too much or pry too much about our lives, but that’s only because they care, and, well, they worry too much. Although we may feel like all of this is unnecessary, the best way to respond to it is by appreciation and showing them all the strength they’ve imparted to us. Here are some messages that can help us express our gratitude:
Dear Mom, I’m sorry for the worry that I have ever put you through as I learned my mistakes and you still helped carry me through. I love you and thank you.
Our moms place a great sense of worry for us. They might come off as nagging, but they are only looking out for us.
For all of those things you didn’t have to do for me, I thank you, Mom, for those and even for the ones you felt obligated to do.
They can go out of their way and do more than what they have to. There are times we may feel that they are only obligated to do these things, but they do it because they love us, not because they think it’s a responsibility.
Mom, I know that behind those comforting hugs lies a woman who is strong and selfless. I have come to understand how strong you’ve always been, and I love you for it.
For all the times they hugged us, the comfort they deliver radiates the giving energy they have for us.
I know very well that you have never lived a life of your own beyond raising me. Most of your time could have been spent concentrating on your career, but instead you focused your efforts on caring for me. Thank you for being a great mom and for always making things easier for me.
Our mother could have done other, better things. But they put us first always, and sometimes deny their own wants in doing so.
Thank you for caring for me, even when I didn’t think I needed it. Thank you for letting me fall when I had to learn by making mistakes. I am the person I am today because of you.
Even when we didn’t know it, our mothers have always been there to look after us. At times they also let us fall so can get back up and know they are their when we need them.
Even when I’m sitting in the dark, you still turn the light on for me. Thank you, mom. I don’t tell you that enough.
They never want us to feel alone or scared in the dark.
I would like to show my appreciation for all the love and care that you have shown me since the day I was born. Thanks for being there for me not only when I needed you most, but all the time. May God grant all that you wish for in life!
Our moms never skipped a day in loving us. From the moment we are born to the time you are reading this, your mom loves you.
Mom, you are the glue that holds our family together. I am grateful for your endless love.
Our moms help keep our family together.
Many times, we argue with our moms because they don’t understand us. What we don’t think more often enough is how much in these moments are we actually the ones who don’t understand them. Whenever love was misunderstood, and squabbles ensued, our mothers never left. Here are some messages to show how much we appreciate them even at times like these:
I know we argue sometimes but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate and love you more than you could ever know.
At times we have conflicts with our moms, know that they love us still, and care for us
I know I can be stubborn at times. Despite this, you have always made me feel loved and wanted. I don’t know how I can repay you for everything you do. You are the best mom in the world, and I am so grateful for everything.
Despite being hard sometimes, they never fail to show us their love, still.
Sometimes we quarrel and fight as most mothers and daughters do. But I never quarrel you to hurt you. I can’t imagine my life without you. Thank you, mom for everything.
Despite the fights, she is always still there for you. And you still always go back to them no matter what
Mom, as I grow up I am realizing that I fought with you so much. Even when, all you wanted was for me to win the fight with the demons inside my head. I love you.
There are times we may have hurt them. They may not show it, but they hold it in because sometimes they want to appear strong. They can get hurt too. So never forget to tell them you love them and thank them despite it all.
Mom, you have always shown me grace when I didn’t deserve it. I have been rude and selfish, but you’ve always loved me anyway. I love you.
Even when we become too harsh, they never stop showing their love for us.
For all the times, our mothers were more than what they ought to be. They become best friends we can talk to in times of trouble. They become advisers that help us navigate through life and stick to our goals. They become coaches that help us get back on our feet whenever we fall down and encourages us to face obstacles in a stronger manner. To our moms who can become anything we could ask for, here are some messages that convey how great they are:
Thank you for being the first and most influential role model in my life, and for always giving me the care I deserve. You are everything I have in this world.
We look up to our moms for the unconditional love they give.
Thank you, mom for being a tough mother yet a caring at the same time. You showed us that life is not a bed of roses and you trained us on how to deal with all that come our way. We are over comers because you taught us how to never give up.
Our mothers are both tough and gentle. They nurtured us, but don’t forget they also carried us in their bellies for months.
I am so grateful to you mum; you are the one and only woman whose title is above that of a queen. You are the best and what you went through to bring me up will always be in mind. Thank you for the sacrifice you went through.
It’s only right to treat our moms like a queen. Oh wait, they are even more than that.
The World’s Best Mother is a book that ought to be written by its most qualified author – YOU. Thanks for everything mom.
If there is ever a book like that, our mothers are the only ones qualified to author it.
You are always the first person I call on for advice. You are not just my mother, but my counselor and friend and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
Our mothers also work as advisers. Their years of living and surviving this harsh world are reference books they suggest to us, all for us to live life better.
From peer pressure to bullying and from success to failing, my mom can help me with just about everything. Thanks mom.
Our moms are all-rounders. They can be anything they want us to be.
A daughter’s first best friend is her mother. So you are. And you will always be my best friend. Thank you for your help and advice all the time. Take love from my heart.
They are always there to listen and are willing to have fun with us. They can be our best friends.
Thank you for always allowing me to share every detail of my life with you without ever feeling judged. You are an amazing parent, and I appreciate your respect.
No matter how trivial our concerns are, the best moms always take time to listen without judging us.
No one can take your place, mom, but you take the place of so many others and I am gracious.
Indeed, our moms can be anything, but anything couldn’t ever replace them.
At a young age you are the only who understood what I said, today as a grown up, I see you happy every time I am happy and when sadness comes I know I can look up to you for support. This mum is what make me feel so loved, thank you so much.
They understand us even if we have a hard time voicing out our concerns, especially when we feel it is petty. They only want to see us happy.
Life has been hard, and at times I’ve wanted to give up, but you have always been there to remind me of my worth and encourage me to reach for the stars.
Our moms are always there to back us up whenever times get rough.
You’ve always supported me and sacrificed your personal time to talk through problems with me. I appreciate you mom and love you with all my heart.
Even when they are busy, they still take time to listen to whatever we say. They don’t want to miss anything when it comes to our concerns.
When nobody believed me, you are the only person who stayed beside me. And today I am successful because of you. Thank you, mom for trusting and encouraging me. I love you.
At times when we feel no one is on our side, our moms are there to tell us that we are wrong. They always choose what’s best for us.
Life hasn’t always been fair, sometimes it has been very mean. I fell down along the way, I got wounds that couldn’t be seen. But through it all, my mom never left my side. Her love is the reason my tears have finally dried. Thanks mom.
They are always ready to help us when we fall down. They don’t move forward unless we also move.
Mothers like you are soft sponges which absorb their children’s tears and squeeze out pretty bubbles of happiness and joy. Thanks for everything mom.
They take time to listen to our problems. And when we cry, they always make sure we have a shoulder to cry on.
Everyone knows that I am you SON. But only I know that you are my SUN – lighting up my life with your hugs and smiles. Thanks mom.
Our mothers make our days brighter just by being there. Imagine if they aren’t present. Always be thankful for their presence.
Mom, you have always brought out the best in me, showed endless patience when I fail and encouraged me to get up again. I love you.
No matter how many times we fall, they will always be there to help us get back up on our feet.
Thank you, mom for all the stories and games when I was young and the deep conversations now that I’m older. You are my best friend, as well as my mother.
They also share stories of their own, sharing parts of their lives to ours, just to show us we are important to them.
Thank you, mom, for always being here for me to love me and care for me when I felt like no one else did. No one can ever take your place ever.
They don’t want us to feel that we are alone and unwanted. In that way, no one will ever be better than our moms.
And of course, for the times, our moms have never failed to provide us what we need and help us get to where we are in our lives right now. Mothers aren’t just persons; we look up to care for us; they can also be the ones who’d look for opportunities and push us through our dreams to get the life we always wanted. Here are some messages that show how their efforts are greatly appreciated:
Thank You are the two words I want to use to show gratitude for the two words you have given me – Perfect Life. Thanks mom.
Not only have they given us a perfect life, but they have also already given us what we need before we were even born.
Words are not enough to appreciate all your love and dedication.
Words are not enough, indeed. Sometimes actions do it better. But it doesn’t hurt to use words, still.
Thank you for doing everything possible to always make me proud of you. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful mom in my life.
It’s not just our moms who are proud of us; we should also be proud of them.
There is no force powerful enough to stop me, as long as I’ve got my mother pushing me. Thanks mom.
Strong forces are scared of mothers. They know the lengths our mothers would go through just to put us in places we want to go.
I recognize and appreciate your immense contribution towards my success, and I want you to know that I owe everything I have to you. Thank you for all the life lessons I have learned from you!
Let’s not forget to always thank them for all the contributions they have given for where we stand right now.
Today, I want to let you know that your dedication to me does not go unnoticed. Thank you for encouraging me to be the most perfect person I could possibly be. I couldn’t have been the way I am now without your guidance. Thanks, once again, to the best mom ever.
Just as they have always shown us love, we must also give back and let them know that they are appreciated.
Thank you for giving me all the necessary tools to succeed in life and for constantly showering me with affection and love.
Whatever we need to get through our life, they are always there to provide it to us.
You believed in my dreams, looked for every door that could open up the chance to accomplish what I wanted, I am so grateful, mom.
When they support our dreams, they will help us in looking for ways that could help us achieve our goals. Their support is endless.
Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made for me and for doing everything possible to help me grow and excel in life. I will forever be grateful for everything, mom.
They also make sacrifices, and it’s time we acknowledge that
Thank you, mom for giving my wings so that I may try to learn how to fly even though you sometimes have to catch me when I fall. I only soar higher, mom, because of you.
They turn us into supers by giving us wings so that we can reach even greater heights.
Many times, our mothers imparted to us values and qualities that shape us to become better persons. They may set themselves as examples of they would look for it in every corner. They are like artists, molding us to become better inside and out. We may not always remember all they’ve taught us, but they will always remember we thanked them for it.
I may have stolen a few things from your wardrobe, but I hope I have inherited some of your amazing qualities too. I love you mom.
Acknowledge the redeeming qualities you have that you think you may have gotten from your mom.
There are not enough words to even describe how important you are in my life, Mom, and you continue to influence how I live mine. I am forever grateful.
Our moms will always stay by our side, even as we grow up.
I feel so blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for teaching me how to become an independent and successful adult with good manners. You are the best mom in the world, and I will never let you down. Once again, thank you, mom, for everything.
They teach us values that we can use as we go through life as adults.
Thank you for raising me to be the kind of person I am today. I will forever remember everything you have done to help me reach my full potential.
All that we are now, we must thank our mothers who raised us every step along the way.
Whenever I am in trouble, I ask my heart ‘What should I do?’ Every single time, it replies: ‘Do what your mother would tell you to’. Mom, thanks for being my guiding light.
In making tough decisions, there are times when we have to put ourselves in their shoes and try to look at the situation in their perspective.
No school, college or university can teach the wisdom given to me by the best teacher in the world – my mother. Thanks mom.
Our moms are our first teachers. They tell us things we never even know we needed.
Thank you for showing me how to maintain a stress-free lifestyle and for teaching me how to care for myself as an adult—you are one in a million!
They think more about our health than we do. They want us to live healthily and teach us how to take care of ourselves.
I’m so lucky, mom, that the apples don’t fall very far from the tree.
If you have a remarkable mom, you are lucky, indeed!
Thank you, mom for teaching me to be honest, courteous, caring, appreciative and loving. You did it by example. I love you.
They teach us many values to treat people better. They know it also makes us better people growing up.
It is the wisdom in you that has helped us become great people. You didn’t give us life on a silver platter, and from that, we knew how to work hard and earn all what we need. Thank you so much, mom.
Great moms don’t always spoil their children. They teach them how to strive to help them get ready for this cruel world.
Thank you, mom, when I didn’t know how to free myself from my mistakes you gave me hope. I have conquered many things because of your encouraging words. Thank you.
They help us see thins are in a brighter way. They remind us that they are there for us whenever we feel like there is no other way but down.
Dearest mom, thanks for loving me always and showing me the right path of life. I really appreciate your positivity which you have transferred in me and my life.
They direct us to the path that is best for us while not hindering us from our own wants.
I love the way you approach life with grace and dignity. Thank you for showing me the way, mom.
They also inspire us to take on life in a better place. One that does so with grace and a full heart.
They may not say it, but there are times when our moms have gone out of their ways just for us. They may have chipped a part of them only to make us feel whole, and good moms never hold it against us. They go through little sacrifices every day just so we can live life a little better. This is also for all the times we felt difficult, but they never gave up on us. For all these moments, here are some messages that tell them it was never unnoticed.
I am surprised to see that you only want our happiness. You are doing so many sacrifices with a happy face. How can I pay your debt mom? It’s impossible. Thank you for everything.
They put our happiness first before their own. They don’t want to laugh without seeing us smile first.
Thank you, mom for being an awesome mother. One who fights for us, sacrifice for us and one who gives her all just to ensure we are okay.
Mothers are also fighters. If they can, they’ll clear the way so that we can move forward at ease.
Now that I’m older, mom, thank you for never leaving me in a shopping cart and running away even though I know how tempting it was. Enjoy a laugh and accept my gratitude.
There really may have been times when leaving us is tempting. Just kidding. No matter how stressful we were as kids, they always kept us out of trouble.
Your immeasurable support means so much to me that I really don’t know how to repay you. Thank you for never giving up on me—even though I made things difficult for you at times.
We may think we can never repay them, but they don’t actually keep count. What they need are gratitude and appreciation.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve become aware of just how much you sacrificed for me over the years. I love you mom and thank you for all you did and continue to do.
Growing up and seeing the world is the clearer lens, we realize how much our moms may have missed life for themselves just to tend for us. Thank them always.
If I put myself in your shoes, I would never have had the strength and patience to cope with a kid like me. Thanks, mom, for bringing me up and managing to stay sane.
Sometimes, we tend to overlook how much they do for us. But if we think about putting ourselves in their shoes, can we handle it? Thank them for their strength and patience.
When I fell and cried, mom, you were always there to kiss it to make it go away. It is because of you, mom, that I am stronger. Thank you.
Moms are so powerful; even their kiss is enough to put the pain away when we were children.
Bad grades, bad company and bad habits – all these would have torn my life apart if it weren’t for a super glue called MOM who held it all together. Thanks mom.
There are plenty of times we may have gone astray as children, but they always keep us in check.
The only person who has stood by me through all life’s storms and bad weather, is none other than my amazing mother. Thanks, ma.
Even through storms, our moms will always stand by us.
Thank you, mom for the millions of prayers you have sent up on my behalf. I feel protected and blessed by your care and devotion.
Without saying it, our mothers may have also prayed for us when we forget to do it ourselves.
For simply appreciating what a wonderful person our mothers are, here are some messages we can say often that carry across both love and gratitude:
Fashion trends, viral videos and internet meme’s will come and go but your love always stays the same. Thank you, mom.
Time will continue to pass, but their love will stay and make us feel warm.
You are beautiful and soft around the edges, but you have the strength of steel and I’m eternally grateful that you’re mine and I love you, mom.
They are beautiful, and they keep us safe. If that ain’t superwoman, I don’t know what it is.
You are an intricate blend of gentility and toughness. You are loyally fierce and ethical, and I admire you so much, mom.
Indeed, they are an intricate work of beauty with a kind of fierceness added to the side.
Your love has made me feel secure but free; you make me feel grounded but like I also have wings. I love you, mom.
Their love for us makes us feel like we can be both lifted up and grounded to reality at the same time.
Thank you for always holding my hand, Mom, and for always keeping your love in my heart.
When we were babies, they carried us in their arms. As we grew older, they always held our hands. Their love can always be shown in their touch.
The hands that held me first are still the ones that hold me when I feel lost and I am forever grateful for you, my mom.
The first warm touch we felt was theirs when we were a crying mess, and they were smiling even after going through so much pain.
Best friends come and go, boyfriends and girlfriends love and move on, bosses hire and fire, but the only person present through it all is a mother. Thanks for always being there for me.
Many things and people are passing, temporary. But our moms are always by our side. Always.
I don’t see our relationship as something which is biological. For me, your warm hugs are nothing short of magical. Through life’s rough patches you’ve made me feel secure. Mom, you have been nothing less than an angel for sure.
Moms can be anything we want them to be.
You made our home the happiest place, a home full of humor and love. Not forgetting the delicious meals. Looking back, I appreciate everything you gave us, only God can repay you for the good work.
They do their best in everything they do. They strive to give us a home we are comfortable in.
Thank you for always being here for me and adding love to everything that you do, mom.
In everything they do, they always add a touch of love. That’s how great our moms are.
Thank you for your unfailing love. I have always felt your love surrounding and protecting me.
We also wear their love as armor, protecting us from harm as a reminder that they are always there for us.
For all the times I never said thank you because I thought you knew, I thank you now more than ever, mom.
And sometimes we overestimate them and overlook some simple things we should have done. A thank you goes a long way, so always say it.
If we haven’t said our thank you’s yet to our moms; it’s never too late to start now. Words are spoken every day, but it’s only often that gratitude is passed along the lines. Mothers have carried us for months before we can even breathe. Even before they recognize our faces, they have already loved us. The least we can do is say our thanks with all our hearts.
